Oh God. DeBartolo has a blog. Why didn't I know this? I just died of happiness.

All squeeing aside, it's wonderful that authors still feel this way. Too often writers give a happy ending, and not the right ending. The pitiful thing is when readers feel they're owed a happily ever after. Vicious cycle that, which is why God-Shaped Hole made me so deliriously happy (though the tears, you understand...) you've given the right endings. Thank you so much. As a bookseller, I greatly appreciate it. It would be no good to recommend a beautifully written book with the wrong ending.

And now this has turned into a review. Sorry about that.
